Apply for a Dog

Therapetics trains Service Dogs to assist individuals with mobility issues and military and first responder-related PTSD. We do not train dogs to assist with seizures, autism, diabetes, blindness, deafness, or emotional support (as a primary condition). Please note our current waitlist is 2-3 years.

Due to the high volume of applications and the amount of time it takes to train a service dog, Therapetics has temporarily closed our application process. If you have previously applied for a service dog with us, we still have your application and will reach out when a dog becomes available that can appropriately meet your needs. We appreciate your patience as we work to bring in more volunteers and Service Dogs in Training to meet your needs.

Therapetics does not train dogs that are not directly owned by our organization.

Note: We cannot train dogs that are owned by individuals. The Service Dogs we train and place with clients are owned by Therapetics through the end of their career.
